You may have noticed in the Winter 2007 issue of the TTSC Magazine the article regarding an audit of Life Members. Due to the response that we have had, out of 580 Members only 145 have responded and by some of the comments and abuse made by those who did, we are somewhat disappointed by this so we would like to take this opportunity to explain and answer some of your queries.

First of all we would like to thank those Members who have made generous donations to the club funds with their response.

Here are some of the answers to the points that you have raised with us.

 1 Your status as a Life Member is under no threat at all, you paid you subscription in good faith and we intend to honour your commitment to the TTSC. 

2 We are not asking you to pay anything more than what you have already paid, however should you decide to make a donation towards Club funds that would be your own personal choice and we would be most grateful.  

3 The reason for the audit is to find out as to whether you have any change of circumstance for example, change of address as we always get phone calls after each magazine has been posted from members wondering as to why they have not received their copy of the magazine. It mainly turns out that they have moved and not informed us of their new address, which in turn means we have to send a second magazine out at a further cost of 66 pence in postage. We also get people phoning and writing to us stating that whoever it may be does not live at that address anymore and again they have failed to get in touch with us so we have wasted more money on postage. 

This is the main reason for the audit, No hidden agendas, nothing sinister we are not trying to get more money from you. in fact the opposite. We are trying not to waste money on postage and we want to make sure that you get your magazine. So if you could send us a note saying that you would still like to receive the magazine and that you are still living at the same address that is all we need.

If you have already responded to the audit when asked to in the Winter 2007 Magazine you need not do anything as your details would have been updated on our records.

It has been decided by the TTSC Council that if you do not take part in the audit and send a response to us by the end of September 2008 at the very latest you will not receive any future editions of the TTSC Magazine, so it is in your own best interest to make contact with us as soon as possible. you can do this by means of Email to the following address  membership@ttsupportersclub.com or you can send a note to us the address below.
