2005 ISLE OF MAN TT RACES – PRACTICES BULLETIN No 5

Thursday June 2nd

Hopes that practising could take place this afternoon for the Isle of Man TT Races had to be abandoned when the mist failed to lift on the mountain section of the course. It was the second successive practice to be lost to the weather.

Next session is on Friday night with racing due to get underway on Saturday.

Gary Horspole, the driver of one of the two sidecars involved in the incident at Sarah’s Cottage on Tuesday night, is expected to be moved to Nottingham to be nearer his home. He has been in Noble’s Hospital suffering from spinal injuries since the crash, his condition still being described as ‘serious but stable.’

The three other riders involved in the same incident have now all been discharged from hospital.
